Jared Reckard: Founding Partner
Jared founded Reckard Law in 2021 to help the community by ensuring the highest quality legal services are affordable and accessible to those who need them most. Jared practices Family Law and focuses on Contested Divorce, Uncontested Divorce, Dissolution of Marriage, Custody, Child Support, Protection Orders, Post-Decree Modification, Criminal Defense, Expungement, and Protection Orders.
After graduating from Walsh University, Jared earned his law degree from Capital University Law School. He then worked for a solo practitioner that focused on family law. He also worked at a small statewide Family Law firm.
When out of the office, you can find Jared cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes with his wife, two daughters, and their Irish Setters.
Collin Finn: Attorney
Collin joined Reckard Law in 2021. He focuses on Criminal Defense, Expungement, Protection Orders, Contested Divorce, Uncontested Divorce, Dissolutions, and Appeals.
Collin attended Ohio Wesleyan University where he played baseball. He went on to earn his law degree from Capital University Law School. In addition to his studies, Collin organized a basketball league for students. Before joining the firm, Collin was a Judicial Extern at the Supreme Court of Ohio and worked at a law firm specializing in Appeals.
Outside of work, Collin coaches high school baseball. He enjoys outdoor pursuits, watching spy movies, and reading non-fiction.
Michael Kellar: Associate Attorney
Mike joined the firm in 2022. He assists clients with Criminal Defense, Expungements, Protection Orders, Contested Divorce, Uncontested Divorce, Dissolution of Marriage, Custody, Child Support, Protection Orders, and Post-Decree Modifications.
Mike grew up in Yellow Springs, Ohio and attended Ohio University. While in school, he worked for non-profits such as Hocking Athens Perry Community Action Program, Kids on Campus, and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. He decided to expand his reach and ability to aid others by becoming an attorney.
While earning his law degree from Capital University Law School, Mike worked in various areas of law that provided a solid foundation for his legal experience. These experiences range from the Franklin County Public Defenders Office, Capital University Legal Aid Clinic, Capital University Family Youth Advocacy Clinic, Capital University Mediation Clinic, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
Mike believes "any problem worth solving has a solution, and [he] would like to help you find that solution."
